Mr. Edwards' presentation  began with recent changes to the district phone system which now allows staff members to stay connected wherever they go, staff phone extensions would now “follow” them to whatever office or classroom they are moved to. His talk underscored the importance of communication in today’s fast-paced educational environment.

Updates from the New York State Education Department (NYSED) were also shared, including a significant trend towards consolidating diplomas and the changing requirements for high school graduation. These changes are expected to influence curriculum planning and student preparedness for the future.

Board members then voted to appoint Brendan McGovern to fill a vacant board seat.
