Special Annoucement for April 13, 2018: 

The City Police have been training all week in our Armory building on Wheeler Avenue with about 20 officers from around the state completing a Reality Based Training (RBT) Instructor Course. I was advised this morning that today they will be both inside and outside the building working on police response tactic scenarios and using blank ammunition in their training weapons. They will be behind the Armory and not visible at all from the school. There is a possibility that someone might possibly hear what sounds like gunshots from that area. The 911 Center has also been advised of this training. Training begins at roughly 9am this morning and will end before school dismissal this afternoon.
